Taste test: These candies were somewhat elaborately wrapped in a decorated wax paper with a design similar to the bag that they came in, including a cow on each one. I unwrapped one to find that they looked like they were made of a Tootsie Roll-like material, including a good match for the color, but they were shaped like caramel cubes, except double in length.
I bit in to find that any texture comparison to Tootsie Rolls was way off, as they had a surprisingly light feel, much less dense than a Tootsie Roll, and it just sort of collapsed and started dissolving upon biting in. Kind of like the feel of a block of fudge from the candy store. But the Tootsie Roll comparison wasn't entirely off, as the taste was somewhat similar. A good chocolate taste, hard to stop eating one piece after another.
