Taste: This jerky was cut into fairly small pieces, each very dark maroon in color, with most pieces cut fairly thick. The jerky was brittle and easy to break into smaller bits, but it was on the dry side, though still easy to chew. Some pieces had less moisture than others, but even the really dry ones were still OK after a bite or two to soften them up. There was a very good taste.
