Taste: This beef jerky was cut thin into various irregular polygon-like shapes, and it was on the dry side. There were some pepper seeds visible on the outside, plus some score-like indentations perpendicular to the grain on the meat on many of the pieces. The jerky was a bit tough to bite into, but it was only slightly rubbery, making it chewy but no overly chewy. The taste was very good, as there was a strong flavor with some mild heat that grew a bit stronger in the aftertaste. Our tasters very much enjoyed this bag of jerky.
